This
event edition of the Melting Pot celebrates Hispanic cultures and achievements
(September is Hispanic Heritage Month). This call is out to lovers of
underground culture, endless beats, and interactive vibes. Participants
are encouraged to bring their own instruments - castanets, congas, tambourines,
and anything else that can easily join in the jam - and dress to sweat
to global dance music sounds of special Guest DJ Mario Roberto (Macumba)
and Melting Pot resident spinner DJ Kervyn Mark. Morever the creative
energies will be of nuclear proportions in the form HBO's Russell Simmons
Def Poetry Jam performer by “La
Bruja”. Yes, Caridad De La Luz who is known for her mesmerizing
poetry and characterizations will add flava to this can’t miss event.
And if that isn’t enough, expect the eye-popping visuals that TMP
has become known for. Finally, the music never stops until you do!
